Step 1: Import DVD disc

Insert DVD disk into your DVD-ROM, click "load DVD" icon on the main menu to browse your computer hard drive and select the DVDs you want to Load. you can also directly drag-and-drop DVD files into. (the DVD ripper can also rip DVD folder and ISO files.)

Step 2: Choose "MOV" or "MP4" as Output Profile

Because iTunes only support importing the following file formats: QuickTime Movie, MEPG-4, so to copy DVD to iTunes, you can choose the output format as M4V, MP4 or MOV. Here take MOV for example.

Click on the device icon at the right side of video processing list, and then it will switch to the following output file format choosing panel. Just select "MOV" formats is OK.

Besides, you can Click "+" button on Profile panel to specify output MOV parameters: video codec, audio codec, video size, bit rate, aspect ratio, frame rate, and etc.

Step 3: Edit DVD Videos (optional)

Step 4: Rip and Convert DVD to .MOV or .MP4 on Mac

Click the "Convert" button in the bottom-right of the screen to begin the conversion. This may take a while if it is a long video file such as a feature length movie.

Step 5: Adding to iTunes

Now the easy part. Choose File -> Import iTunes to import the files into the iTunes window, or directly drag the files into. iTunes will automatically add it to your library and depending on your settings (in iTunes).

You can access the file by going to the 'Movies' sidebar of your iTunes window. From here you can double click on the movie and watch it whenever you want – alleviating the need to carry around your collection!
