How to Convert & Burn FLV to DVD for Home DVD Players

This tutorial will guide you through the steps to burn a FLV to DVD on Windows to play on your DVD player.
Flash Video (FLV) is prevalent on the Internet. It is used mainly by online video-sharing services such YouTube, Google Videos, Hulu, MySpace since it can hold high-quality videos with compression rate and in small file size. These videos can also be captured and saved on a PC and Mac computer so that you can play and view the movie files any time. If there are FLV files saved onto your PC and you want to play back the movies on other individuals without a computer, like DVD player, you need to convert FLV to DVD.
It doesn't matter what format is, FLV or some other formats such as MOV, MP4, MTS, AVI, etc,. burning an video onto DVD disc is a fairly straight-forward process. Here DVD Creator we used enables you to convert FLV to DVD to play with most portable or home DVD players. Besides burning DVD-format discs, the DVD movie creator also allows you to burn DVD folders and ISO files. Step 1: Import FLV files
Once the installation has completed, launch this FLV to DVD Converter program.
Click "+ Import" button on the toolbar, navigate to the FLV file you want to convert into DVD, select it, and click "OK". Added video and photo slideshows will be displayed as thumbnails on the left side of the screen.

Step 2: Edit FLV Videos (optional)
Simply right click on the video item and then choose "Edit" option. The built-in video editor lets you edit your videos by cropping, trimming, adding watermarks, adjusting video effects, etc. before burning FLV to DVD.

Step 3: Customize DVD menu
To make your videos more stylish, you could adopt the free stylish DVD menu template and add text and background music to the videos. Simple click the "Menu" tab and then menu is showed out in the right of interface.

Step 4: Preview your DVD project
Before FLV to DVD burning, click "Preview" tab to check if everything goes well. If anything needs to be changed, go to corresponding tab.
Once you are satisfied with the video results, go to "Burn" tab to make other DVD settings such as the disc label, output target, TV standard, aspect ratio and DVD drive.

Step 5: Start FLV to DVD Conversion
Hit the "Burn" button and begin burning FLV files to DVD. The burning process might take a while depending on the size of your FLV files.

Please keep in mind that the resolution of FLV flash video files grabed from YouTube is often 320x420, while DVD frame size is 720x480 or 720x576. So the DVD quality may not be excellent.
